It will show aspects of its culture and history together with the hitherto unspoilt countryside. The talk includes lots of lovely birds, many endemic, as well as various reptiles and mammals.

Ardnamurchan - Almost an Island

A talk on the birds and wildlife of the peninsula on the west coast of Scotland.
It includes a range of Scottish species from White-tailed Eagles to Scottish Wildcats, Fin whales to Pine Martins with images from various visits to the peninsula as well as day trips out to areas such as the seas off Coll and the islands of Staffa and Lunga.

Bee-eater, Roller, Hoopoe, Red-Footed Falcon, Collared Pratincole together with Golden Jackal are amongst the many species photographed.

Loads of amazing migrating birds coming north at the perfect time for a fall of warblers - a photographer's dream - so many stunning and colourful birds.

Gateway to the Sahara

Morocco is so close to Europe but yet so far in terms of culture and wildlife. It is rich in diversity from the high alpine crags of the Atlas mountains to the edges of the Sahara desert and the important wetlands on the coastline.
Cream-coloured Courser and Bald Ibis together with 8 species of Wheatear and 11 species of Lark are just a few of the many birds we will be enjoying on this journey.
